Smackdown Results: 7-30-10 |
WWE Woman’s Championship Match: Tiffany w/ Kelly Kelly (Team Blondetourage) vs Michelle McCool w/ Layla (Team Lay-Cool)
Michelle McCool and Layla come out first. Tiffany comes out next with Kelly Kelly right by her side. Vickie Guerrero came out and told everyone that Layla would not be the one defending the Woman’s Championship, but that it will be Michelle. Michelle mocked Tiffany, then doing push ups to start things off. Tiffany went right at Michelle with a strong front dropkick. Then she hit some knees to the stomach, and some strong forearms to the face. Tiffany then pushes Michelle into the corner, and hits some strong kicks to Michelle while she was in the corner. Tiffany tries to grab Michelle, but Michelle pushes her, Michelle runs at Tiffany, but Tiffany grabs her and puts her up on the turnbuckle. Tiffany hits more elbows to the face, then Michelle hits a punch back. Then Tiffany hits her back with a forearm, Michelle pushes Tiffany right in the face, but Tiffany hits her with a punch to the back of Michelle. Tiffany then climbs the turnbuckle, and the both exchange shots to the back, but Tiffany gets the upper hand, and hits a strong superplex off the top rope. Tiffany goes for a pin, but only gets a two count. Tiffany goes to run off the ropes, but Layla grabs her foot. Kelly then comes and hits Layla with forearms to the face, but Layla pushes Kelly out of the way into the barricade. When Layla turns around Tiffany is there as she hits a strong dropkick from inbetween the ropes, as Tiffany yells to Layla “stay down”. Tiffany then starts to climb the top rope, but Michelle pushes her off of it making Tiffany crotch the turnbuckle. Michelle grabs Tiffany off the turnbuckle and hits her finisher the Faithbreaker for the three count and the win.
Winner: Michelle McCool

Friday Night Smackdown Spoilers |
Want to know what Tiffany will be up to on this Friday’s edition of Smackdown? Well all you have to do is highlight below, and find out!
Vickie Guerrero came out and announced that Michelle McCool would replace Layla in the match against Tiffany. Vickie had more heat than I’ve ever heard in my life. The match is still for the WWE Women’s Championship.
Michelle McCool (w/Layla) defeated Tiffany (w/Kelly Kelly) to retain the WWE Women’s Championship. Layla interfered in the match, which set up McCool getting the win.

Women’s Champion Layla successfully defended her title at Money in the Bank. However, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long is throwing another challenge her way, as she must defend her title again this week on SmackDown against Tiffany. Who will prevail?

WM Reading Challenge Kick Off |
WWE.Com have posted some new digital photos, as well as a video of Tiffany, Rey Mysterio and Kofi Kingston from there time in the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library event from earlier this month. The three were there sponsoring the kick off to Wrestlemania’s 27 Reading Challenge, inspiring young youth to read. After there speech to inspire the young children they also held an autograph signing, so be sure to check out the photos & video featuring the lovely Tiffany straight from WWE.COM as well as the three rare and exclusive candids of the event we were able to grab a hold of, all down below!

Friday Night Smackdown Spoilers |

Backstage segment with Laycool and Teddy Long. Laycool give each other gifts and Teddy says Layla will defend the Women’s Championship against Tiffany next week.

Kelly Kelly w/ Tiffany (Team Blondetourage) vs Layla w/ Michelle (Team Lay-Cool)
Kelly Kelly came out first, of course with her best friend Tiffany. Then the womens champion Layla came out with her tag team partner Michelle McCool. Kelly charged Layla at the bell, the referee separated them, then Kelly ran at Layla and hit a Lou Thesz Press. Kelly hit some strong slaps, then pushed Layla in a corner. Kelly went for the backhandspring elbow, but missed. Kelly then kicked Layla and went up on her shoulders and went for a Victory Roll, but only got a two count. Kelly kicked Layla to the outside. Layla tripped Kelly in the apron, trapping her leg and kicking it. Layla threw Kelly back in the ring and went for a pin, but only got a two count. Layla stretched Kelly’s leg across the bottom rope until the referee told her to release it. Layla then kicked Kelly to the floor and she collided with McCool. Layla threw Kelly into the barricade. Tiffany came around, but the referee held her back. This allowed McCool to get a kick in, then she sat on the barricade and said that she hadn’t done anything. Kelly got up and shoved Michelle off the wall and into the crowd. Kelly got in the ring and went crazy on Layla, getting a two count with a sunset flip. Kelly then hit the K2, but Layla got her foot on the bottom rope with the assistance of Michelle. Kelly went to the outside were she and Tiffany gave McCool a strong double shoulder block, knocking her onto the floor hard. Kelly got back in the ring and went for a sunset flip, but Layla blocked it and leaned forward to get the three count and the win, at the four minute mark.
Winner: Layla

Bio: Taryn Nicole Terrell, A former Playboy Bunny stepped onto the Wrestling scene in The 2007 WWE Diva Search, where she made it to the final four. Early 2008 she Signed a contract with the WWE, and started to train in FCW, the WWE's developmental program. She made her debut on the ECW Brand five months later as Teddy Long's Assistant. In April 2009, She was named The New General Manager Of ECW. After the ECW brand was discontinued in February 2010, Tiffany was moved over to the Smackdown Brand, in March 2010. More?
